Mizuno Pro Tour Proven 522 Nakajima Wedge - Assembled
Mizuno Pro Tour Proven 522 Nakajima Wedge - Assembled (52.2*)
One of golf’s most iconic clubs, fully tech-ed and deck-ed out.
Finding this club is hard. Finding it not played into submission is harder. This keeps price high and going higher every time we see one.
So, Deciding to put $250+ of components and labor into the club was not a hard decision.
Producing Aluminum Bronze (Japanese answer to all the copper coming out elsewhere) turned out to be toxic. Therefore, despite the bite and softness produced by a clean, firm, 7/8th strength, flighted, PW to a back pin bringing immense pleasure to a lucky VERY FEW, this should be in the new owner’s museum. Just kidding, go play it till it breaks. That’s what it is for.
ASSEMBLED.
