Ultra premium forgiveness. Raw. Amazingly underrated in this category.
There are merely a handful of make/model/year issues with this type of forgiveness profile AND the highest grade carbon steel one will find in a set of irons period.
These are buttery. If they ain’t your jam, maybe add a new jam to the cupboard.
We were converted here after a friend shoved a 7 iron in our pretentious little hands and that moment plus a few others constantly remind us that to be successful doing this, we have to enjoy looking in the most obvious “yes” spots, and find even more happiness in looking in the most obviously “no” spots.
Every once and awhile ;) - you find some stuff.
You can buy these golf clubs for a few hundred bucks (rare for a brand that also sells at the very high end of the market) on eBay right now. It’s not a bad deal. At all.
But….
1.) those sets won’t have the Dual Raw finishes = alternating shades of lavender haze and frosty cavities. from @kenuseltonputters
or 2.)
They won’t come with the 9 @bbfco Ferrules shown
Or 3.)
They won’t come with 9 grips of the buyers choosing.
Or 4.)
Assembly won’t be free (at hourglass happy to do it, we just invoice ahafts seperately. Same installed cost of shaft as anywhere. But free assembly is good.
Or 5.)
You must see in person to fully appreciate it, but the paint fill is rocks. Just does.
