PS: This is a VERY rare Mizuno Original HS-92 Wedge
P/S: This is a VERY rare Mizuno Original HS-92 Wedge (52*)
First, yes, of course that is a purple Datsun 240z T top in the background of first picture. Not AI. Loved seeing that car in person. So random, so dope.>
There are a few different Mizuno Pro Original shapes and sets we favor over others and surely the HS-92 set is near the top of the list. And of all the clubs in the set, the 52* “P/S” might just be our favorite. And this is only the second time we’ve ever seen one in person. Or online for that matter.
The listing is for an assembled club - we took the club apart, refurbished and refinished the head, new paint fill, new ferrule, and added a new grip.
Original shaft back in!
It’s a 90’s graphite shaft for a wedge and while most of such attempts were huge fails, this was not. What a surprise and treat.
Finish: Champagne Chrome Graphitti (part raw, part altered plated by Ken Uselton)
Ferrule:
@bbandfco as shown
Shaft:
OEM Mizuno as shown (google for specs pls ;) BC honestly we didn’t experience what they suggested we should.
Grip:
Alas original could not be saved so were replaced with a black with Tiffany trim @iomic_official grip that ties into ferrule and paint nicely.
