Bridgestone J’s Classical Edition (4-P)
Bridgestone J’s Classical Edition (4-P)
J’s are professsional and have been for some time now; but the Classical Edition was the set we have been holding out for because the stamped “Professional” edition catered a little too much to Jumbo Ozaki’s personal preferences. (Specifically the changes to the lie angle and offset of the professional edition were a direct result of Ozaki's request to have a club that could perform better on them soggy American courses.
These irons were the standard, traditional version of the J's blade. They were classic blades in terms of performance, with a more standard sole grind, traditional length blade less stubby than Jumbo’s. We like both Editions (there is even a cavity back edition that ain’t have bad), but the Classicals are the way to go.
Voila, we found a minty set for a song.
Finish: @kenuseltonputters burnt ends (Raw)*
The light blue custom paint fill is f’in nailed.
*in our humble opinion the best version of this finish to date, especially with the ferrule pairing and paint.
Listing:
Heads and ferrules shown. Happy to assemble, separate invoice for that, you pick grip and specs (we’ll help as much or as little as you’d like).
