Mizuno Pro SB (3-PW, 11, SW)
10 clubs, this is for real. We looked for these for years. Seve RIP but man you had taste. The numbering of wedges is as good as the little toppers get.
SB stands for what/who you think it might.
If you have never seen or heard of these and can’t find an image of them, that is normal. All is ok.
As part of an internal bet, which one of us lost badly, this is the one club intentionally left off of our ranking - even though it had a spot in the top 15 - easily.
Finish: Graphitti (Chrome with raw gaps)
We’ve learned quite a bit about these clubs since acquiring them - most crucially that this model served as a cornerstone tor Mizuno’s push into greatness. For the purist these shapes are just heavenly. They have a look all their own (pre-finish), while still somehow causally making it clear that these are Mizunos.
Close to mint shape when found, they were then treated to our Graphitti finish and some intensely sparkly silver paint to match those ferrules.
It’s hard to imagine some dude in his garage saying: “yeah, I’m done with these.” But it happened!
